Ah, ranch. Je t’aime.
Another successful trip, I think. We did a LOT in just a few days. Daddy wasn’t even too awkward!
We shot guns, and made tamales, and rode horses (well, Emili did a bit) and ate a looot of food, and took naps and crochet’ed and went for hikes and really bumpy rides in the back of my dads truck.
We also took lots of great pictures, some of which will eventually be put on here and more still on myspace, probably. Only a few upsets twixt mom and Emili, but other than that it was okay emotionally as well. Not bad for 34 hours!
As for today: Relaxation, sort of. I need to shower and go do some last minute gift shopping, hopefully chill with Chap, then work. Tomorrow I’m baking bread; Wednesday I’m helping mom cook, Thursday: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Sydney, cause our families don’t do anything on Christmas itself. I’m also housesitting starting the day after Christmas for MJ for, possibly, a whole week! That’ll be…lonely. I like housesitting (So much money for so little!) but it is rather lonely to be 100% alone so often. Except for, you know, the puppies, but they annoy me rather than comfort me. Oh well, it’ll be a lot of money and a really comfortable bed, so. I’m also sort of housesitting for Emili this week, but since I’m going to be gone for so long at MJ’s, I prolly wont actually sleep at Emili’s, just feed the kitties, let them inside, etc.
Busy, busy, busy. I’d really like to go down to the ranch for a week or two, but that’s not possible thanks to work and Europe. I still need to get my passport, alors. And my hair done. I’m essentially a brunette at this point. euuuhg.
Joyeux Noel!

My life!
